Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of executives in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women. There are over 34,000 members in more than 1,230 clubs in 70 countries. Zonta is committed to women's development and has supported a series of international service projects in more than 20 countries primarily in cooperation with United Nations agencies.

The Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau, a chartered club of Zonta International, is dedicated to advance the status of women worldwide through community service projects and contributions.   The Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau supports Zonta International with 30% of the club's funds raised going to these projects.

The Zonta Club of Cape Girardeau was chartered in May 1976.   Since our charter 25 years ago we have raised over $162,000 for contributions to community and international service projects.  Our membership has donated over 35,000 service hours towards community projects.
